what can I get for using a credit card?

I don't really use a credit card as a credit card - I always pay off the full balance at the end of the credit period (before incurring interest) but I just wondered if there were any cards around that gave you rewards for using them?

I've currently got a Tesco credit card and you get money off vouchers, but I rarely shop at Tesco anymore so I'm hoping to change to something more useful ::)

For example; airmiles, cashback, vouchers etc ? I don't even know if such a card exists, but if it does I want one!

As I said, I pay it off every month so the interest rate isn't really that relevant to me. Although just in case I can't pay it one month, I don't really want an extortionate rate! :o

Your ideas are much appreciated,

Thanks

Mel

The Tesco Card isn't a bad one for the %age return, it's the equivalent of 0.5% when you use the clubcard vouchers you get for shopping at Tesco. But if you use them against items in the Clubcard Offer catalogue, their value multiplies nearly fourfold. For instance, £11.25 worth of vouchers will get you RAC Roadside assistance, normally (they say) £45, (though you can get it elsewhere for £34).

Cheers for that. I'll have a good read of that article.

Also, I'll look into my tesco card again. I've never redeemed vouchers I've always used them instore. I could never usually wait to use them for anything else :-[

    Thanks again for your responses.
