They can only get away with advertising flights as 'free' because it is possible to get them free if you pay by Electron Card... but does anyone know which banks/building societies issue these cards? I'd like to get one purely for paying for Ryanair flights.
I managed to get one of my banks, smile, to issue me with an electron card. I just use it for such offers.0 -

I tried to get one from Lloyds, but they wouldn't do it. I have 2 current accounts with them, joint and single and also a savings account and credit card - huh!0 -
Hello! Am brand new here. Have been browsing for a while though and absolutely LOVE this site.
Anyway, the post office issues electrons. You do have to pay a small amount of commission (sliding scale)because it's sort of like travellers cheques but the good news is that you just load it up with however much you want on there, which means it's not connected to your bank account.:idea:0 -
