They charge £1 per person per seat for debit cards and £3 per person per seat for credit cards - so use a Debit card everyone.Make £2 a day challenge - doing well so far.0

I must be doing something wrong, I keep getting the cheap price but with taxes etc added, it makes it really expensive
I've checked that the dates are eligible 0 -
They can only get away with advertising flights as 'free' because it is possible to get them free if you pay by Electron Card... but does anyone know which banks/building societies issue these cards? I'd like to get one purely for paying for Ryanair flights.i've just done 2 for my 40th birthday 4p excellent didn't think much to the debit card charge mind you0

I am so happy about this! When I checked the prices about a week ago it was going to cost about £200 for the weekend. Now it's only cost us £40 which is brillant this is from Bournemouth to Edinburgh0

But are the times eligible? You need to travel after 12.00 on a Monday for instance. Check a Wednesday and you'll find all the flights are free with no taxes.0 -

I know most people could not be bothered with this, but while it is on the board I thought I'd stick it on anyway. Ryanair often do super cheap flights, but the problem is for most of us, they do not fly from local airports to a vast range of places. They do, however, always tend to fly to Dublin for a quid including taxes. They then fly out from Dublin to all over europe - huge range of places (check out their ie site, just press the ireland site, rather than the GB one) again, in their sales, often for 1euro, 5 or 10 euro including taxes. It doesn't suit us now as we have four kids and the thought of 2 flights to get where we want to be, plus a wait at the airport in dublin would not be good, but for those who have more time to spare, don't mind the process of flying, and don't want to spend much money and don't mind the experience of reading a book or amusing themselves in an airport for a few hours or so might find something they fancy. It is quicker, and cheaper than driving there.
Ryanair don't have a great track record of being on time, so you have to watch that your arrival time into Dublin gives you enough time to get on the next flight, but if all else fails you can insure yourself against this using "dynamic insurance" addition to most policies (we paid an extra £2.34 on an annual policy with insurefor for this - think the annual policy was only about £43 for a family of 6 including ski-ing).
Anyway, worth a quick look for those who have plenty of time (and endurance) but no money.
I managed to get a newcastle-dublin-biarritz connecting flight for my retired parents for £2.90 each (not counting the dreadful debit card charges....)
