    Are the debts personal or business??? NationalDebtline also has a business arm caller, err, businessdebtline that it might be worth speaking to.

    I am a debt counsellor working in the voluntary sector - we don't charge our clients for the work we do!

    Even if certain charities don't deal with SE people , surely they can recommend ones which do? Anyway just don't go with one that will charge you for their services/ advice is all I can say.
    Has he seen a lawyer if he thinks ex wife is deliberately ruining the business?
