I'm guessing that I'm not fully understanding this game as I don't understand how you've been playing all day? I thought you could only have a boost from friends once a day? My balloon is down to 0% now so I'm assuming I'm stuck now until someone can give me a boost tomorrow? Or am I completely misunderstanding this game?

Does anyone know why the bonus boost thingy at the edge of the site I'm on was there to begin with and has now disappeared after flickering a bit? Or I am missing something really obvious? Thanks

Hi kisto,
Boost just makes it go faster but you still get blown along with the 'wind', and pick up a small amount of boost. You can go up or down without boost. If you pick up a canister it tops up your boost. You have the option to chose one of two sites to go to next.

Ah! Thanks for clearing that up! DOH! Each day when my boost has run out I've not bothered to go back again. I wondered why my balloon wasn't where I left it sometimes! :rotfl:

hello!! This game confused the hell out of me when I first started playing - I'm terrible at waffling so will put the main things about the game in bullet points to keep it short

- your balloon is constantly travelling even when you are asleep and your PC is off

- You get the chance every day to get "buddy boosts" it says you get 5, so when you ask for a boost it is worth the person doing all 5 of them as you arn't credited with the air until all 5 have been pressed. This then gives you 100% air in your canister. This is reset at moidnight when you can ask for more.

- While you are travelling around you collect more air, which accumulates slowly or you can be lucky and steer yourself to a site with a canister on

- you can get to a max of 200% in your can

- it's worth saving it a bit as there doesn't seem to be much around, this is useful if you need to get to a rainbow quickly

- click on the "your balloon" bit to see what site you are on and then use this and the view race map to see which out of the next 2 sites coming up are your best bet to head for (ie the one with any goodies)

Ok, someone else has probably typed out a much better and shorter explanation while I've been typing that!!

it's because the better you get and are moving forwards with boosts/rainbows you are leaving some behind.

5 Stars = entry to prize draw (at the end of race) [FONT=&quot]'hundreds of prizes, Gig tickets, wind-up phone chargers, handsets etc.'
Rainbows = take you five internet mile further on
Canister = 100% more boost (you can get up to 200%)
But you have to bump into or float past [FONT=&quot]this stuff [/FONT][/FONT][FONT=&quot](on the same level) to get them.
I think that if you stay logged in, you can pick up stuff while asleep at the controls but if you log out you can't.
If you hit a page that doesn't work and your balloon gets lost in the mist. Just wait for it to drift off and go back (from the main page) and find it again.
