I am looking to do an IT course at College (ECDL - at my Local Learning Center) - I have read previous posts about this type of course..... I really can't afford to do anything else, I am able to do it through Learn Direct Scotland with the money they provide (I only work Part Time)...
Can anyone recommend a book I can use to help me along with this? I have never done IT before, but I do have a good knowledge of PC's.....
Many thanks

There are quite a few books on ECDL its just a case of choosing a style that you are comfortable with reading. My advice would be to look on Amazon, check out some of the books, and look for reviews.

Will do - many thanks...

Your local library should have the actual books for the ECDL0

Hello,
I am a librarian and passed the ecdl a few years back, the best books are by the author Brendan Munnelly. Ask at your local library or check their online catalogue. After you have completed it go for the 4 advanced ecdl modules.
The ecdl is a well known and well respected qualification now. Good Luck!0
