Decent Cheap Childrens Summer Holidays?

Hi

We are hoping to go away with my 5 year old Son from the 27th July until the 4th August, hopefully getting a week in during this time.

We are looking to go to Spain.

Does anyone have any suggestions on prices, destinations and so on?

Everything that I am looking at is really expensive considering that it falls within the Childrens School summer holidays.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

What is the cheapest that you have found so far?

Holidays usually are more expensive in the school holidays.

Sorry I should have phrased it a little better.

Basically we are open to either a Villa or Hotle but of decent quality.

The flights seem to be the sticking point if anything as they seem to be extortiantly priced, which I suppose is to expected being the rip off time of the year!

I am open to suggestions or ideas.

    Thanks in advance

Where are you flying from? As flights for the dates you want come up at approx £40ish each way including taxes from London airports to Spain on this sites flightchecker. A lot of the cheaper flights and hotel deals for the summer school holidays are gone now. Thomson for example had rooms for £2-£8 in spain for July/August and ryan air cheap flights a couple of months ago. Using this ldeal several friends of mine are going to Spain for a week in August for £138 each including Ryanair flights and half board hotel. I know its not much help this year, but might be worth looking out for these deals March/April time next year.

Thanks for your answer, it would be preferably from Stansted, then others.

All inclusive might be good or a villa

    Thanks again

It is the main school holidays when demand is high and prices go up.

Check https://www.holiday-rentals.co.uk to find a decent villa perhaps.

Ryanair to Barcelona Girona 27th July and return 4th August. £265.59 for 3 of you (bags extra). www.alpharooms.com all inclusive at Top Olympic hotel Calella £689 total. www.transfers.net. Girona to callella £55.35 return transfers. £1009.94 total for all inclusive (£336.64, with bags extra).

The above sounds typical. I've paid £1016 for 2 adults and one 15yr old( 3 adults ) for 1 week selfcatering Majorca mid-July.

Personally, I'd take a 5yr old out of school and go when it's cheaper. :D
