Bathroom Vanity unit - anyone used Ebay?

I'm looking at replacing my bathroom with a pressed steel bath, vanity unit , loo etc I'm particularly keen on a vanity unit as storage is a problem currently. The no of bottles of shampoo and stuff my daughter deems necessary is unbelievable.
I have an independent plumbers supplier who can supply all I need but the price of the vanity units are horrendous £400-600 and that's the ordinary type without fancy glass bowls. I've found some Buy it Now units in Ebay that look reasonable and one stockist can supply bath etc cheaper than my independent.
However I have had duff items , misdescribed or just plain fake ,off Ebay and all the hassle involved in returning them, They were for smallish amounts and the thought of having to return a whole bathroom would give me nightmares. The two I like give guarantees.
Has anybody bought anything like this from Ebay and was it OK? Or has anyone found a good cheap source for a vanity unit with ceramic basin?

Hi,
We have been using Ebay to asssit with keeping the cost down on our house restoration (Kitchen, Utility, Bathroom, Living Room) have nearly all been completed. The most success we have had with ebay has been the bathroom.
We discovered an ebay shop that is local to us (About 20min drive) we asked if we could visit their showroom to which they were very helpful, we ended up procuring everything we need at 1/3 of their showroom price. I didn't realise their was such margin in bathrooms.
The ebay store was The Bathroom Outlet (Based in South Lincolnshire)

However he did confess that the other store (Bossman Bathrooms, I think) used the same supplier so both of them are compete for business.
Hope that helps0
