I don't know if it is just me but I had a cracking day yesterday on ebay, almost like the old days when everything sold and I had more than one bid on each item. I was also selling a lot of my stock that I have given up on and it flew, 7 bids on several of the items and I am almost tempted to go back to the supplier and start selling that line again as I haven't seen those prices for years.
I am doubly surprised as it was stuff listed on the half price day , and some of it frankly was only put up as a last ditch attempt to sell a few things before I gave up and charity shopped them. I've got another large batch of things ending on Sunday and virtually all have watchers and many already have bids. It hasn't been like this for a year or so now.
I am also consistently outselling a couple of my rivals, getting more sales (I sold everything in one category for instance) yet there items were cheaper and nothing sold. I did check out one main rival and their stuff never shows up in searches however I look, so that would explain that.
It was a bit weird actually, maybe I was a bit too hasty to condemn the new search basis, it obviously favours me.
I have decided though that despite things having picked up I won't go back to the selling levels I used to, these sales have got to be a fluke..unless other people have found similar?

Interestingly I had a great day on Wednesday which caused chaos as I was out Wednesday evening amd came home to a whole host of sales which had to be packewd and posted by 9:30 am..eek.
Reality check on Thursday......only one item.0 -
