Highlighting & Bookmark problems

Having problems with trying to highlight, when I click on to do it it just doesn't work, it'll either highlight a couple of word or highlight everything on the whole page,we're on Mozilla Firefox but have also tried it with internet explorer & it does the same thing. Also having problems when I click onto Bookmarks, it just clicks on then straight off again ( if that makes sense ?) any suggestions guys?

With the bookmarks comment I think I understand. You click the option at the top of the screen, it shows then vanishes alsmost straight away. If so it sounds like it is being clicked twice. Do not double-click the option. If you are not then it sounds as though there could be a problem with the mouse. This could be software related or the mouse button itself could be sticking.

Does this happen on all websites you are trying to highlight text on or just one?

Maybe try reinstalling the mouse drivers or clean the mouse. Or try a different mouse.

I wish I could be of more help but It's late and I'm going to fall asleep on my keyboard any second now.

Thanks for your reply, my mouse is only set on one click, I will give it a clean & see how I go from there.

With the highlighting it does it on all web sites.Even does it when I right click after a sentence very annoying indeed !

Also when I click on an emotion two always come up
