Bunk bed for adults

Im thinking of getting a single bunk bed in order to create more space in the bedroom. I was wondering if this bunk bed will be sufficient.

The only problem I have with this bunk bed is that the overall height is 168cm. Is this tall enough and will there be enough room for the person on the first bunk when they sit upright on the bed?

Looks fine to me. 100cm width is 3'3" which is slightly wider than a standard single, so it must be intended for full sized people. The height looks okay too, I'd say there is about 4' "sitting up room" which should be adequate. Anyway people don't tend to sit bolt upright do they? You wouldn't want it much taller or the person in the top bunk would hit their head on the ceiling!

Your best bet is to visit a bed salesroom with your tape measure and do some sneaky comparisons, then order the online one if it is cheaper!
