know question is

1, if i put the sd card into my camera will it delete all hers ? or will it just show up as the removable dirve like normal on my pc and i can drag them off and save them and then put them back on at a later date,

many thanks p.s think her camera is a samsung one

Yes, this is all perfectly possible, just copy and paste like a normal drive, if you want you can mock up pictures in Photoshop/PSP and then put them back on your camera and tell people they are real - "look, I'm telling you, see the picture for yourself, Madonna was in KwikSave with Tom Cruise - no lie".
  • Jakemuk, it should show up as a removable drive (if your current card does) and definitely should not delete pics on it. Some camera's come with PC software which handle the transfer, this software might not recognise the file structure \ image names of your sisters pics, so avoid this type of transfer if possible.

On the "her pics showing on your camera" thing (and gizmoleeds suggestion) this may not work. digicams (older ones definitely) only really look for their own folders, so things in folders from digicams may not be shown on the cams screen. They'd also neet to use the same naming convention that the camera uses....

Yeah, sorry that is true - you would have to put it in the same folder on mine for it to show up, and also name it DSCFxxxx.jpg for it to look like it was taken by the camera.

I have never actually mocked up a pic of madonna and tom cruise in kwik save though - honest. :D

  • aaah, but if the pic was autographed ON the camera.......

Maybe you could use a marker pen and autograph the camera itself???
