ok,
ive noticed recently well past months,
that on my amp cheapo home cinema, when the light in the kitchen flourecsent tube is switched on it makes a loud clicking through the speakers,
my rooms upstairs on a different ring anyway and not a lighting circuit more to the point,
also know my tv has a line accross it big white one whenever the lights switched on in kitchen it only does it for a few seconds,
know i thought well surge protectors may clean the power supply, so got one only a 9.99 one form argos hasnt solved problem its not as bad tho i must admit,
know i have seen some home cinema ones in argos about £30 could this solve the problem form lookin on internet ive seen fleuroscent lights can cause this,
anyone know why or what else could be am i barking up wrong tree completely
many thanks

You're quite right that the light is affecting the amp (or maybe the speakers). If you buy cheapo components they have to scrimp on something and this is often the sheilding around the internal components. By buying a new cheapo amp you are probably delaying the problem again for a while, but it'll probably return.
I am assuming that it only crackles when the light is turned on or off - not the whole time the light is on?0 -
thats correct,
would one these ressolve it

I think those are more for protecting for surges from the plug socket. The only reason I say what I said above is that I have had a couple of cheap amps and this has been a problem, but as soon as I bought a more pricey one I have had no problems - even 5 years on.0
