XP crashes

I keep on getting xp internet explorer crashes ...looking for any pointers as regards a safe fixer site or do I need to fiddle around with something under tools . Just point me in the right direction and I'll be much obligued. Regards Callum

    What version of Internet Explorer (is it 7?)? I.e. do you keep windows updated.

    operating system seems to be internet explorer version 6 ( thats if I was right to look under help) how do I get the windows updates ? Appreciate you answering my query Callum
