Is it possible to sign up for the free evening and weekend calls from british gas, (which is actually ontel) but still use 18866 during the daytime? i spoke to british gas and they said that all calls would be routed through them so I was wondering if this would prevent me using 18866? thanks in advance.

Yes it is possible as you would only be CPS your calls to Brit Gas.When you dial 18866 it would overide the CPS.Out of interest what do you have to do to get these free calls with BG.Use them and run up expensive fuel bills?PF.0

Yes all calls will be routed through them instead of BT but you can route through BT by dialing 1280 and you should be able to route through 18866 by dialing 18866 BUT you would need to check the T&C's

I agree with Pricefighter. It's only going to be worth it if BG are cheapest for Gas and or Electricity. Having said that BG Electricity is quite cheap at the moment but I don't know how long it will last.

I have had a look at this deal on the BG site and you only qualify for it if you are a BG Energy Customer.Bearing in mind that Centrica are trying to sell Onetel,British Gas Communications, and Justdial it might be worth giving it a miss until you see who buys them off them.AS soon as you change your power supply from BG i guess the offer must end anyway.PF.0
