after serving my company for a decade i am going to be made redundant by end of the month.
currently i receive wtc on top of my wages and the fulltime housewife receives child tax credit(2 kids).
what do i do?
will i be able to claim jobseekers allowance on top of wtc while im unemployed?
any advice will be welcome thank you.

I'm sure others know waaaay more than me, but a friend of mine lost his job and wtc had to be stopped straight away. I'm sure he claimed something else instead, just not sure what. Would be better to let the wtc know so that you don't end up owing huge amounts back to them. Sorry I'm not much help and good luck job hunting!!0

You will not be able to claim WTC while you are not working.
You will need to make a joint claim for JSA, and your CTC will be adjusted to reflect your change in income.Gone ... or have I?0 -
You will find a real drop in income-I couldn't believe how much lower my income is than when I was earing £400 per month,ctc and wtc until I was made redundant in April. I recieved no notice,wasn't paid,no redundancy payment and can't sue as they have gone bust! Hopefully you have a good package.Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!0
