in Credit cards
Hello,
I was just after some opinions really,
We're off (hopefully, if we can save enough money) to the USA for a holiday in May2009 for a family wedding - so it is kinda important we go (normally do UK camping trips!!!
)
We're obviously really trying to save up some 'pennies' to pay for the trip!! :rolleyes:
We DON'T -actually, if I'm being honest... prob CAN'T get a normal credit card as things at the moment are tight and well our credit history, I suspect isn't that good :embarasse .
So, I've been toying with the Pre-paid credit card idea.... putting money on it by means of saving and then using the card in the US when we go.
Does anyone have any opinons on them - are the widely accepted in the US - which cards are great - which ones wouldn't you recommend.
We would REALLY value some feedback and your thoughts.
Many Thanks,
S

Id second that, have had one nearly since start, no problems using it throughout the USA. They also consistantly have the best US$ rates.
There is a thread I think some where on here that gets visited by FX Card so if you have any questions from looking on the site drop them a line.
