disabled travel to brighton (falmer)

my daugter left for uni ;ast week in brighton, well falmer to be exact. we drove last week and had to do trip there and back in one day as overnight accomodation was so expensive. the journey was a nightmare being disabled. i have problems with slipped disc and being crunched up there and back did not help. obviously i will want to visit as much as i can but am now considering other modes of transport. i live quite close to thameslink which i know goes direct to brighton and i also live close to kings x station. was wondering how the journey would be doing it that way. does anyone have any experience of the journey or knows costs etc or even if it would be possible to do the journey at all by train from these stations in a wheelchair?

if you get the thameslink into brighton , then change trains , you can get a train to falmer.

check out the railtrack website https://www.railtrack.co.uk
this will give you train times,
then look at https://www.thetrainline.co.uk for ticket prices
    otherwise there are coaches.... 'megabus'

alternativaly, couldnt your daughter meet you at brighton station.....
smile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to.... ;)
