The media has a lot to answer for. I don't care what anyone says but it was the media (BBC mainly) that caused the run on NR which started it all off!

A good point from Mrs.B tho - I might ask my Mrs to see if there is any overtime going at her place, just in case we are all doomed afterall.

that is the whole point of the media, look at last week, reporting on the fuel protest, cost on fuel and how bad it was keeping people interested on the subject now they have moved on to something else ie knife crime and the fuel subject is a thing of the past.
I think there's still a lot interest in the fuel thing. It'll be back. It's like fashion.

Hey Mr B does parent sharing :T . I now have a whole different view of you!We worked like that for many years but I think mine liked his school pick up days only because he got to watch some Star Treck thing on BBC 2 and he used to buy contraband junk in the bakers (that I didn't allow on my days.)

Has given him a good relationship with the kids (which shows now they are older)...I can't remember my dad being around much at all when I was younger.

The only very leetle think I would say is that you potter about here yet haven't chatted about things (economy etc) with her?
Now I have banned myself from this forum (except tonight as all work is done for big day tomo) apart from 30 mins max per day, OH and I have been talking more about general economic things (plus I am now a total expert ;) ) and I have discovered he has different views on what to do next.

I used to sometimes go to work for a rest.

Oh dear...where do i start?....we agreed on terminating the tenancy for various reasons. Maintenance issues after 2.5 yrs, the fact it was under rented (but we couldn't increase it by much without upsetting the tenants who were nice) and we want to sort out the loft full of stuff (and we can't remember what all these valuable posessions were now)and ....and.....it gives us choices (sell or not) ......but the main reason was that we have had to be re-active the past 3 years and feel that it's time to be pro-active (without wanting to sound like a therapy manual).

He feels that. though it would be convenient to have use of the house (son during vacations, it's near all the family, me when up in London, etc) we are too Poor (with a capital P) to have the luxury of running 2 homes at the same time.
Now my plan is to make us less poor again BUT I know he is correct (deep down) plus we have another rent review to fight and it would be simpler (and give us more bargaining power) if we had no assets. I can't post why but you know about investment companies (our LL is Threadneedle) so............

HPC aside, it is probably the right time in our lives to try and sell this year......and then we have to do it within the constraints of an HPC climate...but it's possible. I have done some local research.

We can see a glimpse of light and he feels that we need to go back 2 steps to go fwd 3 in a few yrs time. By that I mean not owniong a house for 3 or 4 years (for me that's scary)

    Cue a "Swiss Toni" moment.......

I have writer's block - I can't begin to tell you about it.
You told me again you preferred handsome men but for me you would make an exception.
