My neighbour has just got a cat and it sits on a wall about 6 feet from the window where my dog sits.Just looking. At first my dog has been barking, wagging his tail(he really is a very friendly mutt).) don't want him to keep up the barking all the time.I have tried distracting him with treats (not sure about the psychology of that!)I am home most of the time. What's the best thing to do?

(puts on flame retardant suit!) chase it away?...

why can people own cats, let them roam free...come into my garden...do their business (smelly stuff) kill small birds, miaow ALL night long when they enjoy each others company and even climb in through open windows in peoples homes and sit on bonnets of cars etc..
    I'm now a retired teacher... hooray ...:j

Those who can do, those who can't, come to me for lessons:cool:
