Hi
About 10 years ago I bought shares in Dragon Oil (I think about £100 give or take a few pounds), however after a year or two the value dropped to a few pence per share, meaning I forgot about them. However having a bored day I thought I would sort out old paperwork, to discover I don't have the certs for these shares! I have moved a few times since I bought them. So is it possible to find out if I still have these shares (ie is it possible someone could have cashed them in at some point?) Or is there an easy way to check or do I just have to put it down to experince of being more careful?
Thanks in advance!

You need to contact the registrar - Capita I think and tell them you have lost the certificate. They will guide you further but will involve putting an endorsement on the register to stop the missing certficate being sold or transferred.Mortgage when started October 2011 : £94,134

There was a note saying any checks will cost! Just wondered if there was a free way of checking! But thank you for the advice.:rotfl:Ahahah got my signature removed for claiming MSE thought it was too boring :rotfl:0
