Hi I have a problem and wonder if you can help . . .
I have a dell laptop (the one you get free with AOL). For every file, folder, icon i click, i get a message asking me if i am sure i want to move to recycle bin. Also if i am typing and move the curser back into the text - everything after the curser gets deleted.
The delete key is not stuck. I have run Mcafee antivirus, defender all seems to be ok. I have looked at the installation log and the only thing i could see which was installed was a windows update - i did a restore to the prior state but the problem is still there - can anyone help please . .
Many thanks for any replies

Sounds like a hardware fault. The delete key itself may not be stuck, a wire maybe loose or the switch maybe faulty.
All I could suggest is to return the laptop. However there may be another solution wait to see what others say.0 -
