we have just sent a email to a couple to some others buyers based in the Uk to see if they have any concerns about there watches. just waiting to see if they reply. At the end of the day the watche slook good, who would suspect it was fake if the feedback is good and they watches themselves look good, the only reason my work mate found out was because of the valuation.

If the goods are counterfiet then ebay/paypal dont require the goods to be returned to the seller for the refund to happen. (this would be aiding the seller to re-sell the fake goods on again!)

I purchased an antique plaque it was listed as original but on arrival turned out to be a copy I claimed via pay pal and got an auctioneers written confirmation that it was fake I was told by pay pal to destroy item and signed a form confirming that this was done the case was closed and my money returned ,since then the sellers have appealed the case reopened and have been told by pay pal that if the sellers win the appeal the money has to be returned ,so I will have no item and loose my money over £300.00 .

thats not good at all, i'd be straight onto paypal about that especially as you have it writing to say destroy it.

We have had a couple of mails back from previous buyers, none of which suspected a replica watch but one is going to gets hers checked today, it seems he doesnt always ship a box with the watch stating that it is increases the chance of duty charges and postage costs, so by them having the watch from someone with good feedback then everyone hes sold could be fake and in that case made a fortune. how many people would actually check it if they arent any signs of the watch being a fake. he does sell cheaper watches aswell.

I have never heard of appealing to a paypal case before. I thought that once a case was closed that was it.

There is an appeal mechanism, I just appealed a decision against me but I didn't think they ever took any notice of it!
