  • I used another two vouchers today. I got a pencil sharpener which was 50p after the voucher and an eyeshadow for £2. Also managed to get Cool Water Wave for £5.50 and a whole load of Johnsons stuff for 25% of original price. Thats a few Xmas pressies out the way. There was also loads of little me stuff really cheap but after todays Johnsons haul and me stocking up two weeks ago in Sainsburys half price baby week I really didn't need any more, and none of my friends are pregnant. Speaking of which where are all my Scottish pals? I feel all lonely up here with no bargain sharing going on. I can't wait to see my wee sis tomorrow who managed a super haul of reduced stuff for me in Stirling.
    So far I've managed
    8 nail polishes
    4 eyeshadow brushes
    2 tinted moisturisers
    1 blusher brush
    1 concealer
    1 eyeshadow
    1 sharpener
and I've given out about 20 vouchers. I am nowhere near a professional bootsers total but I am thrilled with what I have. :j Going to tank it tomorrow so I'll update my total then. CPG if I see any reduced smp triples I'll get you a couple.
    Catherine.

Hi Skittifer - if you have no joy tomorrow re. the Blueberry S & G, let me know and you can have the one I got today. I only got it to try but you can have it willingly if you are a fan - sorry to hear about your car problems.

Oh that's a very lovely kind offer :) and I would snap your hand off lol but I think the cost of posting would make it not such a super bargain :)

We should hold a super swap meet every few months, that would be cool, i could just imagine everyone meeting up with our 100% gorgeous reusable bags stuffed with goodies and then invading the local Boots :rotfl: what do you think is the collective term for a group of Bootsers? herd? gaggle? swarm? :rotfl:
3 children under 5 means not enough comping and crafting time

    August wins: Krisprolls tin :rotfl:
September wins: £100 H&M gift card
  • I have 4 make-up bags on the go

one with all foundations and bronzers in
one with all eye make-up in and

Okay, now that the wonderful £5 vouchers are about to be a distant happy memory, (I'm gonna try really hard not to go again tomorrow :o) I have been looking at all the stuff I have [strike]bought[/strike] got bargains on ;) , and have come to the realisation that my make up bag is just not big enough!!

    I need a new one. :D

Mine is actually a Clinique pink old GWP from ages ago and it's not even that small! Hate having to delve to the bottom to find anything and keep losing vital bits I use everyday.

So I've looked at the new Ted Baker ones in Boots and they are pretty cool (but expensive) , with mirrors in the lids and separate pouches for brushes and decided that my new mission is to find the ultimate bag.

If any of you have what you think is the best make up bag you've ever had, please share with me. :)
The one I have at the moment is black, too deep and a pain to find things in without a floodlight. It also has pockets and sockets for pencils etc. which I always intend to use but never do, and a little mirror in the lid. I usually end up tipping everything out on the bed to find what I need.

The best make-up bag I've NEVER had would be quite roomy with a zip that goes at least halfway round so I can open the bag out pretty much flat. It would have a pale coloured lining so I could see things easily and find what I want, oh and it would have to be washable too. If you spot one like this then please let me know :rotfl:

I love my Soap and Glory bag! (It's what I keep my favourite/best pieces in, I actually have a seagrass trunk for the rest :o )

I have the one at the back but I need to get the purse one for my (very large) handbag ;)

Oooh the S & G one does look nice. :D

Im still laughing though that you have a trunk for the rest! :rotfl:

I agree with geordie_lass about wanting it to open up flattish though, cos although all my make actually fits in my Clinique one I cant get to it. So maybe I should be looking at one of those intended for travel, those ones that hang on the back of a door. LOL. Although I dont like the look of those. Sigh.

No I think I need a large one (:D ) which maybe has smaller separate bags which slot inside so I can sort out my creams from my eye stuff etc. Wish I had my husbands eyesight cos he thinks I look fine without any of it, trouble is, I have perfect vision! :)

Sounds just like mine! It is a hard case rather like a mini samsonite.
Will not spend more money:naughty:, but will spend more time looking for that great bargain!

Would cost me about £2 and have some eb*y parcels to post so could sneak it in the pile and I wouldn't notice the difference. The offer still stands so see how you go on tomorrow - might get to Boots and see a shelf full of em!:T
