I'm thinking that the only way to recover from such an awful Friday 13th is to indulge in a bit of retail therapy. :rotfl: You certainly deserve it!

When I read about your car I thought 'OUCH!'. :(

I was just buying the 1 men's item and found it all a bit laughable really. This was a manager who called CS when I was there. I think they have just stopped it so we do not get too many points in one go. Was great while it lasted, wasn't it?

    Poundsinbucks x ;)

Guess it's down to individual SA again. I managed to use both 300 and 350 points yesterday on a man's face wash along with other stuff to get the GWP (points were added manually), today tried to use either on one shaving gel and the SA rejected it, can't be bothered so left it.

It's worth a shot if anybody wants to try though.

Thanks for the tip off Iiee :D
I don't normally get to go to the Cowley Road branch as it's a bit out of the way (have driven past it longingly in my driving lessons lol but not very mse to get him to stop and wait outside while I pay him £25 an hour so I can go Bootsing!!) so I'll try to make a special journey tomorrow.
I'm after the little me bits and pieces especially as a colleague is having a baby & I'm making her up a little hamper. Thanks for letting me know.
    Great shop by the way:j

Just a heads up to tiara or anyone else in Oxford - the Cowley Rd store has most of the reductions people have mentioned on this thread... Sanctuary lomi lomi, botanics skincare, Ted Baker minis, little me, avent, Johnson's baby. Anyway I got..

    Avent moisturising oil £1.25
    Little Me body cream £1.25
    Little Me baby oil 75p
    4x 6pk photo postcards 63p each
Botanics day shift moisturiser mini 50p
3x Botanics facial cleanser minis 38p each
2x mini photo albums 75p each (the 'brag book' ones)

Total £8.91 and paid with points - SA said I had more points than she'd ever seen before :o about £145 so good job none of you lot went in!!

Oh they also had Fuji 512mb SD and XD cards reduced to £2.50 but apparently there were none left in stock (just empty cases on the shelf) ~ I might go back next week and ask again. :D

Jam sessions is down to 3.75 in our local but thats it in the way of s&g reductions!

Have you been in today Nicole?

This was Malvern I went to and I had been earlier in the week and it wasn't reduced, so I'm now hoping that magically overnight they will reduce it in Woo.........please!

Hubby is now home, his big mistake is going to cost £200 to fix plus the £50 he's wasted in petrol, I don't now if I should be Bootsing tomorrow, but I do have to go to the hairdressers so I may as well go ;)

I am gutted! I decided to pop out to Boots after tea to cheer me up just to check for reductions, and unbelievably they had reduced the S&G blueberry thrill right down from full price to 2.38, did they have any left? NO! After me banging on (in the most boring way to you all lol) that I wanted some and hadn't spotted any even half price, as Victor Meldrew would say "I don't believe it!" I am going to my local first thing in the morning in the hope of getting some...I'm obsessed I know!

Did get some Sanctuary gradual tan for 1.99 though :)

To make my evening complete, I decided I'd have a quick whizz round Tesco, messed up my H&B shop somehow:confused: (the Tescoers amongst us will understand) and then to round off my Friday 13th (I'm not usually superstitious) DH decided to get some fuel, and what did he do? puts Unleaded in our Diesel car  ...50 blooming quid  he's very embarrassed and still waiting for the AA, I had to get my dad to come and get me and the kids. It's a good job I was there though as he was going to start the engine to move it out of the way noooooooooo!

I better find some reduced S&G tomorrow or they'll be tears :rotfl:
Skittifer, sorry to hear about your car, thank goodness you stopped him from starting the engine :T The same thing happened to a friend recently only he didn't realise until he'd driven off the forecourt and back onto the motorway, it cost him a fortune to get towed off and have the car sorted out

In your quest for Blueberry Thrill butter, try checking all the other S&G butters, I found the last one hidden among the peach ones just when I'd nearly given up hope.
Bunbun2 or any other Durham Bootsers, if you'd hidden it there to come back for later I'm so terribly sorry :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
  • Hi everyone:wave:

Decided to go to Boots on way home from work to spend the last of my £5 vouchers. Got a few other items too

Elle McPherson Toned for Bums Tums and Thighs 12.95 to 3.25 plus BOGOF
Daily Toning Lotion 6.95 to 1.75 BOGOF and soap bar £1 from ??

Ted Baker Body Wash 0.75, the 3 x Botanic jars for 3.75 and a couple of Johnson's baby wash for 59p each.

Mediterranean creme baths now reduced to 1.25 so a couple of those too.
Got the last S & G blueberry butter stuff - always thought it smells a bit sweet but was only about £3??ish to will try it.

Had a mixed reaction using the £5 No.7 vouchers this week, most SA thought they were great and wanted to know where they were from but one in particular walked off to get the No.7 SA to come and served me and they were whispering on the way back to the tills and glaring at me - was sure she was telling the No.7 SA that I always buy reduced stuff and use vouchers. She had a mouth like a cat's b*m whilst she was serving me.

Have used about 15 vouchers but feel so tempted to go tomorrow before it finishes as think will be kicking myself when it's finished.
