miss*whisper wrote: »I just came back from Boots where I exchanged a No7 bath soak (£8)
For:
Olay Total Effects Hand Treatment £4.97
Olay Daily Facial express wipes £4.49
No7 Stay Perfect nail colour £6.25
At this stage till showed £7.71?
handed over PC FREE Olay wipes and £5 No7 voucher
Olay voucher scanned and took total to £3.32
Then No7 voucher beeped - SA got a colleague to look and said its because less than £5. So she took the nail colour off the total, and then gave me a gift card with £0.32 on AND the PC voucher back?!
and then put the nail colour in as a separate transaction totalling £1.25
Shouldn't I have had £3.03 on the gift card? I keep working it out in my mind and feel I've been diddled!
Receipt does show the No7 bath soak twice (-£8.00 R)
And says total saving £9.49 Incuding £5 coupon save
I can't figure it out at allAny words of wisdom appreciated!!
You are right you should have ended up with £3.03.:j :j :j
To simplify it, basically you were getting the wipes for free so forget them. Forget the nail varnish as that went through a different transaction
You were returning an item for £8.00 and buying an item for £4.97 so you should have been left with £3.03.
I think you should go back, as trying to explain that on the phone to CS would be a nightmare.
Good luck. :T :T~ What goes around comes around ~0 -
I have had a lovely time shopping today!!:j
I went into my local store, where the SAs love a bargain as much as me, and they were more than happy for me to use 24 of the £5 off vouchers!;)
I got 4 concealer brushes,
4 concealers,
4 eyeshadow brushes
4 eyeshadows
4 nail polishes
& 4 nail & Cuticle cares
I thought a set of these in a free NC bag will make a lovely pressie!
Any spare SA's in your area could they transfer here:rotfl:

With £5 off voucher clutched in hand I headed for perfume counter in larger store. They had none of the offer perfumes or aftershaves in. Then I noticed My Insolence in a box set reduced. I remember someone on here raving about this perfume sorry can't remember who. Looked for tester and had a squirt it smells of palma violets ......well it does to me.
Carried on looking along the shelves and came across perfume Polls bought recently and had a squirt and that is lovely.
Bought the reduced My insolence box set. When o'h came to pick me up told him out the perfume and the prices. Great he said that's your birthday present sorted I'll buy you the box set it's cheaper. I said shame that there was only left on the shelf and it's in my bag on the back seat of car:rotfl:0 -

freecyclebilly wrote: »Did 3 little shops today with a No.7 item in each shop using the £5 voucher of course SA said to me very sarky .... do you know you are the only person who uses coupons in here, I took no notice of her barbed comment and if she was waiting for a reply to it she didn't get one.
Lady behind me said where do you get those from .... I produced one from my handbag and gave it to her she was well pleased but my parting words to the SA was ... well now there are two of us using them ... her face was a picture :rotfl:
Good on you:T :T
What a cheeky SA, she met her match in you though freecyclebilly.
Doesn't she realise that it's her employers who issue them, and they do it for a reason, to get customers through the door:rolleyes: ~ What goes around comes around ~0 -
Botanics Bathroom Bliss set £3.75
used PC Botanics £1 off bathing.
Wanted to post this list because someone wondered the other day if PC £1 voucher would work with the Botanics Gift Set and it did:j . SA couldn't believe the price for this shop after I handed vouchers over and even scrutinised my receipt before she handed it to me:rotfl: .. V good of you to try for me though

Had a little shop today:
S & G Jam Session £1.25
Sanctuary Sento Soap 99p
Used points..........well hubbys card anyway as saving all my points for baby.
Still haven't found my mini photo album with vouchers in.
Am thinking though to help others:
I had £3 off sanctuary from a previous GWP they would work on the reduced lines???
And £2 off sanctuary mum to be so that would work on the £2.24 kicking about????
xxx
And just to say am missing my boots partner in crime Broclo and hope she arrived on her hols safely
xx
Oh and thank you to those that have sent me vouchers this week, made me smile. Will be going to Big Boots on Sunday I know its fathers day so hubby can have DD whilst I shop to my hearts content :-)0 -

I just got off the phone from speaking to CS - explained what happened, and they took the gift card number, checked the balance and have corrected the gift card plus given me some more points for my inconvenience! :T
Boots CS are great! :j Felt really embarassed though , was glad OH went out!0 -
Found some great deals today! Here we go:
-Botanics Bathroom Bliss set X 2: £3.75 minus £1 PC vouchers for Botanics Bathing = £2.75 each
-Essential aromatherapy sleep easy hand cream 75ml: 50p
-Amazon passion flower hand cream 250 ml X 2: 75p each
-NC lip gloss trio: £2.13
-NC apple sponge/polisher: 63p
-NC bath cream: 50p
-NC samphire and sea minerals body cream: 88p
-Elle toned shower scrub: £1.49
-Elle Toned massager: free (BOGOF)
-SD card, 256MB: £4.25 (500 points back from ACM)
-No7 Blush Brush: £3 (after coupon)
-No7 lip brush: £2.50 (after coupon)
-No7 speed dry polish: £1.25
Not bad! I spent about £16 cash and got more than 500 points back, and spent 622 points in another transaction. My husband caught up with me before I checked out the second time and I showed him the Botanics stuff and asked if I should get another, as I don't really know what I'll do with even one (it will go in a general gift pile waiting for Christmas). He said that's a good deal, get it! I'm converting him, lol! I will note the boxes are pretty banged up on all the Botanics sets, but it's easy enough to put them in a gift bag.
Great shop skibster. The Botanics jars would look great individually in cello bags with a little ribbon or in muslin bags. Then you have 3 seperate little gifts.
You got loads for your money and your pts.:T :T Well done on converting OH as well ~ What goes around comes around ~0
