hi fcbMine were the green and pink variety, but just noticed in a later post that there's been an explanation (of sorts
) about it all.
(Was anyone else thinking that as soon as the word "recall" was mentioned, "points" sprang to mind? lol)Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive. ~ Sir Walter Scott0 -

Maybe we should spread our shopping lists out over 30 posts througout the night, instead of just putting them in one post. That way we could never go off topic. :cool: :cool:
Time I was in bed pollsdolls, but spotted a couple more posts that needed replies
Basic cotton wool pads and cotton wool balls - 32p and 34p locally

Wrt the recall that people are currently going on about (sorry but i've only had chance to skip through posts) There is something to do with the ingredients and the packaging but the reason escapes me at the minute. This is NOT a public recall as there is no danger from any of the products affected. When a recall is issued to store, a till bar is automatically placed on that item to prevent further sales, just incase it was a safety recall. I know it affects about 40-50 lines across the store ranging from boots essentials to tb, t&g etc. The reason for this is that most of the designer brands are actually manufactured by boots, you can tell by looking at the address on the back, usually has a NG postcode. I shall try and get some more info and post back, but in the meantime, continue to use the products as normal, there is no danger (yet
)

Thanks for the reassurance ABx I'd have felt bad if I'd made a hamper up and had to recall a recall

I only got the womens GWP for the 250 pts voucher to use with my next £5 voucher. The mens are much better value. Cannot really understand how the womens GWP have run out first.
At least the SA gave me the voucher back, so I may just use it again.I am sure someone managed to get it through on the mens range though?
Wasn't me either pollsdolls as I got knocked back (didn't get the voucher back either) but I'm sure it's worked for someone.

By bronzer, you mean bronzer as in bronzing beads? At which stage does the sunblock/screen go?

Unfortunately the BMI card didn't work out for me, the till beeped, then overid as £0.50 with 4 points
Same for me withthe BMI card today, kept saying voucher expired when it had not. However I am going to ring CS tomorrow as this was on hubby's card and he does not use it often as should have been a 50% discount wyb 12 weigh ins and actually only gives you 10% discount wyb 10 weigh ins.Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together.0
