Not sure. The Basics range is Boots own brand but I guess it could be made by the same manufacturer as TB

just seemed a bit strange that they were both recalled...or am I just looking into it too much

TB mini bath soak is also on recall. Tried to buy one that was on clearance for £1 in Basingstoke this afternoon and SA scanned it, looked surprised a d said I couldn't have it as till said it was on recall. None of the SAs around her seemed to know anything about it either. grr. I wanted my mini bath soak!

Noticed some sanctuary stuff reduced - lomi lomi (i think) bath petal soak thing in a glass jar was £2.24 reduced on the main shelf and in separate clearance bit and the mini body wash and body butter were also reduced. sorry can't remember the price.

got S&G clean on me mini for £1.50 - last one on the shelf and no other obvious reductions on S&G.

clearance had quite a few of those no 7 trinket trios that were out at christmas for £1 and lots of TB body shimmer minis for 50p - wonder if till would say they are recalled as well?

in the baby dept some of the little me creams were reduced with clearance stickers on for 99p as were a couple of the avent ones. sorry can't remember what they were specifically and there weren't too many left. There was also a little me set of 3 items reduced to £4.49 - would put a pic from .com but cant get the site to load properly.

Thanks freecyclebilly I do wonder though, if the matter is serious enough to do a recall, why the shops have not been told to take the stuff off the shop floor before opening/or before people get as far as picking them up and taking them to the till!

You have all got me really worried now. I bought some of the mini TB body shimmers and the woman bodywash yesterday for 50p each.
I went through the till and nothing came up.

Also, I had a problem with the £5 off No7 voucher, they said it was a photocopy, when it wasn't because I had printed it off and that it wouldn't scan. In the end, they just voided it for me.

Good news and bad.
I got a reduced Ferria hair dye £2.30 and notice on my bill that a further £1 had come off from health club. Also had no problems using the £5 no 7 voucher the yawning sa just scanned it and I got an eye line pencil so cost only £2. But having put it on I think 54 maybe too old for eye liner. So dd may come in for that.
The bad news was that I bought nc body bath and (free makeup bag) but it didn't work and I got charged the full price. Have they fixed this glitch?
I didn't do the mens No7 as I wasn't sure if they were 3 for 2 as there were no signs up.

I noticed a Hackett bag with some minis on the Clearance shelf in my store this week. Nice blue bag with some mini products inside, handwritten label saying £5. I asked SA to scan it earlier this week to see if it had gone down further (like you do), and it came up as Recalled Item and she couldn't sell it to me :mad: . We were both puzzled, I handed her the others from the shelf so she wouldn't have to disappoint more people. Following day, back in Boots :rolleyes: , they're back on the shelf! I have one scanned again, same thing happens; recalled. She told the shelf stacker to get them off again, according to her they get sent back.

I don't think there is anything sinister about the products, but perhaps they can only be reduced for so long before they get taken out of circulation?

It's a shame as it was a nice bag! But today, got a Sanctuary candle in a glass inside a lovely giftbox which was reduced to £1.99, as well as some kind of Sanctuary tanning stuff I had not seen before. Was £7.99 reduced to £1.99 also. And a Botanics gift box with 3 small items for £1.25. Botanics vouchers wouldn't scan though.

Oh and one of those laminating picture frame packs for 63p and used PC coupon for 250pts .
