Hey pollsdolls :hello: , how do I get Boots emails?
Do you get exclusive vouchers with them?

    Thanks! ;)

I've always had them, and I had the £5 voucher sent to me last week. Have you checked your account online you can change your preferences there to make sure that your recieve emails?

I also change my health club preferences every few months. That way I get a selction of all the vouchers that are on offer. i.e You can choose 3 topics that you are interested in them. Changing them will alter the type of mailing you recieve. HTH

Hi there, I have been back from my hols for a week and started using the No7 Firm your body tan maintainer since I got back in a hope of keeping my quite nice tan for a bit longer. I think its more of an afersun with a bit of fake instead of using it just to build a tan. I havent used the Johnsoons one but I have used just about all the others in Boots and I would say that I think the others probably would be better to build a tan than to maintain it if you know what i mean.

The No7 tan maintainer is very soft an silk and feels lovely I can definately recommend it. After the 641 glitch last year (or may have been before) cant remember I have taken just about all the No7 sun products on hols to Gran Canaria with me. (My hubby said I needed a bigger case cos of all the bottles :)

I can honestly say each one of them is great specially the Soothe & Shimmer aftersun which gives you a lovely glittery glow if you put in on your shoulders and arms. It looks lovely and feels like silk.. If anyone wants any other info about the other stuff I please let me know.
Hi Super-Peeps! For various reasons I haven't been able to read the Boots thread recently and wondered if any of you Boots-gurus (:A ) knew the following:
Does the No7 Firm-Your-Body Tan Maintainer have the same amount of false tan in it as Johnson's Holiday Skin Body Lotion (I use the dark/medium skin one). Thought I'd take advantage of the BOGOF/GWP thing. However, wouldn't bother if you didn't get much colour with it. I have used other gradual tan brands and they haven't even had any colour in them. Anyone used it ? Many thanks as always !!! xxx
Is this hero.jpgas good as hero.jpg?

(No7 Firm-Your-Body Tan Maintainer : It says it contains low levels of self tan that allow you to build your colour gradually. )

Can anyone expand on whether the med body butters would be classed as BABY DEPT to use a bonus points on spend coupon from PC?

I think you could safely argue that they are, as they are kept in the baby department. I bet it's another that's SA dependant. Well worth having a try though Hogshead. :j :j

Ahhh it says spend on BABY PRODUCTS in the BABY DEPT so specific wording may have scuppered my plan.

This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.

Talking about the free TD ACM vouchers some people have been getting, is it just me, or does it seem that they're being offered to less regular customers than the average bootser on this thread? I just mention it because the people who come on here saying they've had the voucher seem to be new to the thread - although I don't know, they could still spend loads in boots. Has anyone who is a very regular customer had the voucher?
I could see why they would do this, to remind the occasional customers of their advantage card and keep them loyal to boots, but it seems a bit unfair to the regulars...

On another matter :D I have complained to CS about a run-in with a SA where she went through all my vouchers (all valid, but had about 20 on 7 products lol) and told me I shouldn't have used them - this was after they'd all gone through fine, making her 'advice' less-than helpful... but anyway, CS replied (and put 500 points on my card for my troubles :)) and I shall copy out part of the response in the hopes that it will help someone on here:

I can confirm that you are able to use more than one voucher at a time per transaction. Our tills are programmed to ensure you receive the best offer available. There is a limit to how many vouchers you can use, but this depends upon the offers you have received and the voucher.

So it seems that as long as you're eligible for the voucher (i.e. named vouchers have the right name on, any nameless ones should be fine) and you've got the right product, the SA should accept them all. Of course, often they don't check the names in which case that's fine too; mine did :(
But if they refuse any, any valid vouchers because you've used them with others, (the two free TS ones come to mind) stand your ground, quote from their message, and if neccessary get them to actually ring CS, who will back you up. I hope this can help some people's shopping go more smoothly :)
;) One of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you! ;)

That's really good to know so thank you very much for posting that.

I had an awful experience with a SA last week who I argued with for about 20 mins about putting through multiple vouchers for a single item. I did 'offer' for her to ring customer services and I said I would be more than happy to wait while she spoke to them but she just kept harping on about getting paid more points to take products away etc etc and didn't ring them. So I guess she must have known that I could have used multiple vouchers and was just trying to back me into a corner so I would give in, which makes me even crosser ! I didn't ring CS to complain but kind of wish I had now !

No me either, I have only seen mother pucker and jam sessions reduced and the jam sessions was 3.75 rather than the 2.50 other lucky peeps have seen.

I think it's just wishful thinking that I will find it going from full price to 75% off...I can live in hope can't I? :p
