Additional card holder.

I want to give my partner access to my credit card by making her an additional card holder - The thing is her credit file is not very good - would our files be linked if I made her an additional card holder?

No, only you (and your credit file) will be responsible for all her purchases.

Are you sure you want you want to give her access to your credit with her credit history?

Well we are getting married in March - so I think I trust her - She doesnt owe anything anymore we have worked hard over the last year to pay all her debts off - now we are just rebuilding her credit file - Mine so far hasnt been affected and I dont really want it to - So what your saying is they will make no financial link between us if I add her as an additional card holder to my egg money card?

No link and this does not help to rebuild her credit file.

no I realise it doesnt rebuild her's (she has her halifax card for that) but need this one for wedding stuff - so great I will go ahead and order her one.

They will not do a credit search to add an authorised user as you are responsible for all transactions. If it was a brand new application and you put her details down as a partner, it would be marked down as a link then.
