I've just had an email from Glamour saying 'the magazine has advised us that all the beauty brands sent the remaining prizes out last week, so if you do not receive yours in the next few days you will have to contact your local post office regarding the missing item'
I think I'll have to write the Mark Hill serum off. I do not have the energy to argue with the postmen's office over whether someone there has appropriated it or not.:mad:A [STRIKE]B[/STRIKE][STRIKE]C [/STRIKE]D E [STRIKE]F[/STRIKE]G H I J K L M N O P Q R S [STRIKE]T[/STRIKE]U V [STRIKE]W [/STRIKE]X Y Z0 -

I do agree and I have emailed back saying I will need the date it was sent in order to ask the Postmen's office anything but it really feels as though they are washing their hands of it. I've just had to go to the ISP for another competition win that took ages. They passed the papers on the the Advertising Standards Authority and it did get sorted out but it's such a lot of hassle. The email wasn't from Phoebe, either, just from Glamour.
Maybe everyone should start emailing about what they haven't received as it might make them think twice.A [STRIKE]B[/STRIKE][STRIKE]C [/STRIKE]D E [STRIKE]F[/STRIKE]G H I J K L M N O P Q R S [STRIKE]T[/STRIKE]U V [STRIKE]W [/STRIKE]X Y Z0 -
Does anyone know where we do stand? Is it down to them to ensure it has arrived or us to chase? I can't see that we are going to get anywhere chasing the post office without a 'proof of postage?SW: Wk1 (5) Wk2 (2.5) Wk3 - Wk 4 (4) Wk 5 - (1.5) Wk 6 (1) Total off 1 stone!:j0

I've just fired off a disgruntled email to 'phoebe' (which I'm guessing will just receive a standard response).
I'm thinking that the Anna Sui perfume has been sent out along with the Christina Aguilera perfume, to the wrong individuals in error. Will Glamour admit it though?:T*Thanks to all who posts comps * :j0 -

With the competition I asked the ISP to help me with, the company had said the agency sending prizes had sent mine out 3 times. To be honest, I thought the company I was dealing with were fine and that the agency was not being entirely straight. Anyway, a few days after contacting the ISP, I received my prize through the post. The Advertising Standards Authority also got onto the company concerned (a website) as I was sent a copy of the email but I think it did get the PR agency dealing with sending out the prizes to get off their behinds and do something.
Really not sure what to do with this as it's such a lot of hassle for one bottle of hair serum. It's the principle, though, and there are presumably a lot of other people who are still waiting for prizes.
What is anyone else going to do?A [STRIKE]B[/STRIKE][STRIKE]C [/STRIKE]D E [STRIKE]F[/STRIKE]G H I J K L M N O P Q R S [STRIKE]T[/STRIKE]U V [STRIKE]W [/STRIKE]X Y Z0 -
I'm not going to let it go to be honest.
They ran the competition and the should have considered the logistics of sending out 1000's of prizes.
If I was the only one that hadn't received my prize then I'd just write it off a bad luck and assume it had been lost in the post. As a lot of us have not received our prizes it is quite clear there has been some poor administration on their part.
I know Royal Mail have their moments but are Glamour seriously accusing them of losing a significant number of items?:T*Thanks to all who posts comps * :j0 -
