I just read this I missed it when it was available, I get a new PDA each year for free from Orange as Im on a contract and pay i think its £30 a month they give me a new SPV each year, I threaten to leave or tell them tmobile or O2 have offered me their version of the phone I want for free and orange cave in.

Im currently using the m3100 and its ok I prefered the m500 and m600 I have have the smartphones as well and they are great but you dont have the touch screen that you get with a pda so entering text in the same way you enter text in text messages ect is slow compared to the on screen keyboard or my slide out keyboard.

The big advantage of the spv/xda/mda's ect is you only carry a single device, I had a pda before and it was an expensve gadget that I didnt really use it was a bit big to carry arround with me so would get left attached to the pc or in the glovebox not this is smaller and its my phone it is used daily for the pda funtions aswell as the phone funtions. I just hope they continue to make them as I couldnt be able to go back to a normal phone again.
