Working from Home - help needed

Hi,
I have been asked if I want to undertake part of my job from home.
This will mean making several National calls each day. Can anyone suggest the best and cheapest way to do this and make sure that my employers cover just work call costs as opposed to my personal calls.
My initial thoughts are:
1. Get a second line from BT. Connection charge about £75 (even though there was a second line a few years ago?!?)
2. Sign up with 18866 or 1899 (which would be best?)
Use the second line purely for work calls and submit bill to my employers
Questions
Is anyone doing anything similar? if so what would you recommend?
Do I need to have a business line and if so what are the implications?
Is there a landline system similar to mobile tariff where you can make x number of calls or minutes per month for a set fee?
Hope someone can help

my wife works from home 2 days a week for which we had broadband installed. she also has to make quite a few phone calls and we found the best method was to purchase a headset and use a service called skype - thoroughly recommend it:-

No need to go for a business line as the line rental would be more expensive.
Will your employer be paying for the whole bill? If so you would probably be as well signing up for a CPS offering a package on unlimited national and local calls per month, like TalkTalk which have an offer on at the moment, see here.
Mind you the call limit is 70 minutes so it depends on the length of time each call you would make, might need to ring back.
Alternatively if you have to do this as cheap as you can, you might be better signing up for https://www.call1899.co.uk and https://www.call18185.co.uk if you have to ring a lot of 0845/0870 and mobile numbers.0
