£100 for nothing for people with Economy 7 or Electricity Heating

I have found a company called the Energy Research Programme who will pay you £100 to have another meter installed next to your Electricity Meter.

As a volunteer in the sample the information they collect from you will help them plan tomorrow's energy needs today.:T

The number you need to call for more information is 0800 6520276.:money:

Is this part of the Ofgem scheme which has been running since last July?

My boyfriends mum is on Eco7 and just had new storage heaters put in.

    Where did you find them?

    Are they the 'smartmeters'?
  • They contacted me first. I asked if the offer was open to everyone. They said as long as you had economy 7 or a small manufacturing business unit - they had a quota to hit and would pay £50 first year and £50 the second.

All they do is install another meter, thats it. I don't think this is Ofgem, its been going since the 1980's.
