Morning Tigzem...hows the spending going today??
Im just re-working budget at the moment, got to go and withdraw £105 for nursery fee's...ahhhh I hate the beginning of the month as money seems to go out from my account faster than a running tap
So far so good, have spent £1.28 on a bottle of pepsi max and 20p on 2 flumps for DD. Took her out on her little bike to the shop, she looks so cute on it, it's a proper bike with stabilisers. Actually pepsi is mainly cos OH drinks it when he's over, I might have to get strict and ask him to pay for it :rotfl:
IA - glad you got some good bits, my DD loves Dora & Diego, my Mum bought a book from a book club at her work, it's Dora and has these little records that play tunes.... soooo annoying!!
Keren - hope you get your £10 back, grrrr....
Cat - Thanks, wasn't being nosey, just curious :rotfl: I've just started work for the NHS!"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

I am at work, a bit bored. Meant to be doing a tax return but instead am on here and drinking wine! Its my birthday on Sunday and as I am in the middle of exams (along with everyone else in the office) we have had a little drink today. Going to celebrate next week when the exams are over.
I have spent too much money because I am not organised. £3.00 on my lunch and 45p on a twix!
Going to give myself a break from studying tonight and go and see that film about the Boleyn sisters, although I will probably snooze through it after having had a glass of wine.
Are you loving the new job Tigz.. Sar can I just be nosey and ask how your check up at the docs went. I can't find the answer (cross eyed with drink:beer: )Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Are you mad??? - Well yes, you must be to work FOR the NHS (though I must confess to be just as mad to work AT the NHS). I hope you really enjoy it and it's certain to be a truly illuminating and eye opening experience at the least.
Mind, I've been in there for 15 years, firstly working for the NHS and then the Uni and I still love it despite losing those rose tinted glasses early on.
Sammy - hope you have a great time at the pictures.

I survived 8 years in the NHS and was quite sad to have to go in the way I did.
Saying that though, it would never have changed my life in the way it has and although I'm constantly broke, my new career working and now teaching in Adult Education is going to take me to very new places over the next few years I hope.
I really don't miss the end of year, no money mercy pleas on the email..........'has anyone any pencils?'!!

Evening everyone
nice early finish for me today eh. I love so much when I work with people who know what they are doing
one run through, straight onto track, no nonsense...bingo. :T
I'm feeling a bit ugh today though, might be the last of the prozac working off. It's not enough to make me start back on them but I certainly feel in a bit of a slump despite the fact orlandia has been wriggling today. It was def baby movements and not wind this time:rotfl:
I'm just feeling a bit fed up with the housing situation. We really do need a bigger house and although I'm prepared to cram in here (it isn't that bad I suppose) but hubby and I come with a lot of stuff, never mind the kids. I also wish we had a bit of outside space other than the little patch of concrete we call a garden. Maybe this is just early nesting
It does pee me off a bit though that we both earn a very decent salary and have no debt but we still can't find a house in our price range which is nice enough to justify the money. I mean I'm looking at houses at around 350,000 you'd think I'd find something other than an ex council house on a dodgy estate wouldn't you. I just don't want to spend more than that, I really don't want to stretch ourselves *sulk*
And yes, I know prices are going down but we aren't all that mortgage-able seeing as we are both self employed and aren't even on contracts (that's the norm in the industry). Not to mention the carnage that is my credit file.
Sorry for the moan
bloody hell, I know there are an awful lot of people in a much worse position than us, so i really have no right at all to complain. But I feel better for it :rotfl: :A
