bodystoreonline.co.uk - WARNING

I recently made an online purchase from this company for a total of £24.99 for some health supplements. I was initially attracted by there low prices, but have come to realise that cheap isn't always best. As soon as I made my purchase I was sent a confirmation email to say the order was being processed, and after that nothing at all. I paid a £4.99 24hr delivery charge, assuming my goods would be here the next day as they so promise on their website.

As my parcel hadn't arrived on time I then tried to contact bodystoreonline.co.uk to no avail, the only means of contact with them is via their email system on there website. Now ever more annoyed I searched companieshouse.gov.uk on the company to find that they are registered thru another 3rd party agent, who are not willing to give any information on contacting the real person behind bodystoreonline.co.uk. Through my investigations I discovered that this shady character has several websites, all look different but carry the exact same range of products, www.monstersupplementstore.com is one of these websites. A simple whois enquiry shows that both websites although two different ltd companies are registered to the same person/company. The second website is how I contacted bodysourceonline.co.uk who after first denying any link between the companies, have eventually acknowleged this and communicated back with me:-

Have requested that they refund the money back to the card, to which they keep pretending not to have received my email asking for this.

As I write this another mail has arrived:-

Dear Customer
We are sorry we did not received this email instructing us to cancel the order. The shipment is to arrive with us today do you still require us to cancel the order and refund which can take up to 5 working days for this to show back in to your account

He is really taking the p**s out of me now, and I know he will probably do this to the goods are sent.

Anyone else been unfortunate to deal with these jokers? Any advice on how I would proceed further, I know it's not a great deal of money, but it's the principle!

I paid on my Visa Electron card, which is not a credit card

I will check with my bank again later, but as of now still no refund no goods either! Bodysourceonline will only respond via email, just to say I should keep checking with my bank, JERK!

Hey there Goldie,
I found your post after ordering with monstersupplementstore as I was suspicious after not receiving any order confirmation email. looking around on the web It would seem that alot have been ripped off by them. They dont list an address, registered vat number or telephone details on the site which is breaking the law anyway.

I'll let you know what happens my side.
