I made a quiche last night - from scratch, pastry and everything! I'm really getting into this home baking lark, I've always thought of myself as a good cook but now I'm getting even better

Sort out Ebay sales that finished this morning and total up - am splitting money with a colleague as she put in most of the clothes but I did all the listings and will do the posting.
Do the 2 Lightspeed surveys that have appeared in my Hotmail this morning
Brought breakfast and lunch to work, going for dinner tonight but using the 2 for 1 Zizzi voucher that was in the Telegraph, not drinking either so shouldn't be too expensive.
Have great days all! x0 -
Morning all, hope everyone is having a good day today. I'm feeling a little rough, but that may have something to do with members of my household getting up at 6am and not being very quiet:rolleyes: The joys of house sharing!!
Not many things for me today as i have a busy day ahead of me.
-Go to work to earn some money
-Have typed up a mystery shop
-Sorted out mystery shop for later
-Will do a mystery shop for tea tonight
-Will write up report later
-Doing my first stint on the voluntary helpline tonight, so am nervous and excited all at once!
-Have bought advance tickets for free gala bingo
-Will work on job applicatons whilst in the pub for tea.
Thats all for today, have a great day everyone and enjoy your dfw things!
Best of luck with the interview Candy:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

Morning everyone!:hello:Raining here! Not fair!
Today I am off work as I swapped a day, working tomorrow instead. I plan on getting loads done today:
Have already done housework! (there's a first, but must confess it was cos a gas man was coming to inspect boiler and gas fire)
Walk to town to pay some money in my account to stop overdraft/bouncing direct debits :A
Take dogs out
Do washing on 30 degrees, hoping it will brighten up later so I can hang it on line, if not airer dry
Clean out rabbit and birdy
Update spreadsheet with spends (doing well this month so far)
Bravely attack my DS's bedroom
Do survey
Check for mystery shops
Do clicks (not done any lately, must get back in the habit)
Go online to see if my new account is open yet
Start clearing out cupboards ready for moving  - hoping to exchange contracts soon!!
Do some more baking - made lovely fairy cakes yesterday! May try Andan's flapjacks today;)
I'm sure there will be more later!

Well its been a good and bad day for me.
I made a lovely lunch at home this morning but then left it on the side, so our lodger is having a great lunch made for him....
Thats the bad bit over and done with.
Have found out im being provided with a hotel for Saturday night as i am Headlining at Sheffield Pride, so i can go over there and me and the other half can have a drink and not worry about driving back the same night (its also a nice chance to just get away!!)
Had soup out of my drawer (that needs a drastic refil)
Done washing yesterday
Thats about it really...
Keep it up guys0 -
I've updated our budget, so far so good even with being stung by nursery for an extra week (still not sure we owed it), made a loaf and am walking in and back from nursery to get DD (saving £2). Hung washing out rather than tumbly, and dinner from storecupboard. PLus printed out free choccy bar voucher for tomorrow as DD's 'been good at nursery treat'
Have a cheap afternnon all! This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!
