In an attempt to spread my savings for safety reasons, and to gain best available rates I am opening an account with Firstsave. I believe they are part of First Bank of Nigeria - should I be worried about security issues - i.e. supplying details of my linked accounts with major UK banks ?? Any advice/ words of caution from any MSE members out there ?
Thanks in advance

I went through the application process last night and as I was wondering if someone who has opened an account with them can confirm that even after entering your Passport or Driving License details during the online application, you still have to send a copy of these (or original in the case of the driving license) to them?
Is this standard procedure?0 -
yes i sent my driving license and it was returned within the same week with confirmation of opening the account.
cant fault them excellent service interest paid into your nominated account on last day of every month no problems of any description.

after having continual problems with Birm Mids esaver accounts, I last night resorted to putting a lump sum in my First Save account, which had been sitting open but virtually empty. No problems there.0
