Possible structural damage.. need advice

I live in a rented house. Over the past few yrs, the housing association have carried out a number of renovations to the property. None of the renovations have proven to be of benefit to me or the house.
I have noticed, over time, cracks ect appearing both outside and inside the house. These cracks have gotten worse. I am concerned that the house has serious structural problems. The area I live in has seen a number of properties demolished due this problem & I'm frightend my home maybe affected.
I have spoken with the housing association, who are quite content to just cover the cracks. However, I've noticed that where cracks have recently been covered, more have appeared.
I need advice on who I should speak to about this, preferably independent of the housing association.

Apologies, I think I maybe referring to possible subsidence/movement which is causing the cracks ect to appear.0

Please describe the external cracks and where they are.
Do you want to move?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -

well for a start, there was quite a wide crack running along the exterior wall all the way round the house. I asked the housing association to cement around the house, which the did a few months ago. I will check for other exterior problems.0
