Can anyone help please?
Until yesterday I have been able to open Outlook express by clicking on the mail ( envelope) icon at the top of the page. I had to reinstall Microsoft Office yesterday and now when I click on that icon, I get Outlook opening instead.
I can access OE through the start menu but want to be able to use the quick link as before. Can anyone advise me please if and how I can change it back as it was?

Open Outlook Express then go to Tools / Options and set it as default using the options at the bottom.
If the quick link is still incorrect right click on your icon in the Start menu and select send to desktop, then drag the icon from your desktop into the quicklink toolbar.0 -
There may be another solution but his is mine.
Right click the working icon and select properties. Where it says 'Target' highlight all the text right click and select copy. Click cancel.
Now right click the broken icon and select properties, now delete everything in the target box right click and select paste. Click apply.
Now the links should be the same.0 -
I am stupid. And overly complicated. Do it geewhiz's way. Much, much quicker and easier.0

Thanks guys.
I used to click on the icon in a toolbar at the top of the page.
Using the default setting didn't work, instead I set up the quick launch toolbar, haven't done it before
, and I dragged the mail icon to that.
It works fine now. :j :j :j
Thanks a million.I wish you......
