I think you have slipped up here in not going back to the supplying dealer for the MOT and repair work. If you had done that they would most likely have honoured their original advice to you and either paid up in full or contributed to the cost of fixing it.0

Brake pads and discs are not covered under warranty as they are consumable items. Brake calipers are so if there was a fault with those, you'd be able to make a claim.
BMW might not but Toyota do cover and replace brake discs due to any corosion, and when they do so they also replace the pads free of charge as well. They also replace alloy wheels due to bubbling (provided you have not curbed them) :beer:Totally Debt Free & Mortgage Free Semi retired and happy0
