is there a cheaper way to view title registers and plans?

im looking to view title registers and deeds etc on some propertys with regard to a boundary dispute, if i use the official land registry site itll cost me a fair amount for all the info i need (5 properties) so thought id ask you fine people if there was a cheaper way to view the information, the last time i needed to do it it was only a couple of pounds but it seems to have gone up by a fair amount (£35 for each) i dont need hard copies at this point its more just to see if i have a good case.

If there are complicated or additional files, the LR tells you the cost of each - but it's only £3(ish) for ech file.Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac0 -

If you Google "Land Registry" you will find some sites on "sponsored links" that are not the official site and should be avoided. Only use the .gov.uk sites!
Registry entries cost £3, file plan £3 and a set of filed documents (apart from leases) £5. Leases cost £20. The filed documents and leases cannot be downloaded by the general public and are posted out.RICHARD WEBSTER

How to find the sale price of a property which has been recently sold, about a month ago, and still not listed on any of the house price sites, or even land registry (gives only the old title deeds). The reason I ask this that I am looking into putting an offer for a similar house on the same street.
Also the house I am looking into buying, the price is not listed on nethouseprices or similar sites, and the land registry data including the HIP quotes the 'value stated' as between 100K and 200K, and not the actual price it was sold for!!0 -
Recent sale probably not registered yet because buyer's solcitors probably still waiting for seller's solcitors to send them evidence of discharge of the seller's mortgage - some lenders are very slow at doing this after their mortgage has been paid off.
Not all transaction that are registered are arms length sales. If there is a transfer of equity it will be the value of the equity, and if there has been a gift or a transfer to a beneficiary following death the value will probably be in the "between" format mentioned.RICHARD WEBSTER
