Should i reroute concreted-in pipes?

First off I wouldn't do it unless you need to. The plumber should be able to do a pressure test and tell you if there are any leaks. It is unlikely that your CH would be working properly if there was a leak in the radiator pipes, i.e. your boiler would keep dropping pressure. If the fitting is going to cause a problem, you could a) just raise the level of your shower slightly, or break out around the fitting and get the plumber to fit a new fitting below floor level.
If you do go down the new pipe route then, if you are laying back into concrete, it will create an awful lot of dust when you chase out for the pipes (even with a suppressor) and I don't know if the plumber would do this or if you would have to get someone else in. Either way replacing is going to be the more expensive of the options.
P.s. just had a re-read, and it would be cheaper than chasing if you are laying on the skirtings, but still only do it if you have to.0 -
