Ember999 wrote:Hiya Sweetheart,
Just wanted to say Good Afternoon to ya! It's morning for me actually as I didn't get out of bed until 12:10pm  Due to my fall down the stairs yesterday, my bruised and battered body slept for over 11 hours  I'm a lazy so and so....LOL

Happiness you know, is a state of mind that can be achieved whatever situation you are in. Many years ago I read a book called 'Happiness Now' I'd send it to you if I still had it but I gave it away to someone who needed it about 4 years ago. What it basically tells you is that life will get better if you try to adopt a positive mental attitude. Try not to look at what you don't have/can't achieve right now etc. try to look at all the good things in your life and what you have achieved so far. A lassie can be beautiful whatever her size and there are lot's of little things you can do to cheer yourself up. I am a trained Holistic Therapist (though I don't do that job anymore) and I want to send you a few little goodies to cheer you up. Send me your address by PM please hon and I'll do what I can to help make you smile a little
I'll also send you my e-mail so if ever you want to chat you have someone to talk to...
Keep reaching out to your friends, try to smile a little and we will sort out what we can for you I am sure.
Ember xx
I didn't get up much earlier than you
I guess I'm lazy too. Hope the ankle is okay, get Husband to work work work!
I'm not a person who needs much at all. I don't drive, I'm not a socialiser, I don't buy expensive foods, my TV is old etc etc etc I just had a bad spell where I bought things I didn't need (or want) I just need to meet people I can care for and vice versa, sadly I meet the wrong people!
And like I said to previous poster, I am Male, people say I'm too hard on myself, but that's me!
Just got your PM, will reply in due course

1. Don't worry about work, if you are unready, then you will simply get iller going back too early.
2. You are doing OK, and have completed half the job. You just need to get organised.
3. I have compiled a list of Action points for you (i have put it in an excel ss) but cannot paste that effectively here. I know it looks messy. Can you pm me your email address. If you do all my action points and offer revised offers on a couple of them your outgoings will be £17.50 pw, under the £18.50 target.
4. Stop worrying and get well.

1. Yes, I thought that too, I guess it's the fear of bailiffs, debt collection, jail etc
2. Organisation is not my strong point
3. Will PM you later today, If I keep putting off going to pay some debts, I'll never do them
4. I'll always worry, but I intend to get well

My hubby constantly complains (nicely!) about our bathroon looking like a beauty salon or a dept store selling cosmetics, beauty stuff etc. and as for my dressing table  we had to buy a second home in Scotland just to store all my stuff LOL
There is only me that would trot up and down stairs in fluffy heeled slippers trying to look sexy whilst doing the hoovering :rotfl:
Serves me right, almost breaking my neck and smashing the hoover into pieces has taught me a lesson, wear NORMAL SLIPPERS lol
Smiley_Mum sent me a pic of some gross granny ones
I think not! I'll save them for when I am an old lady
I am actually wearing purple fluffy socks now, instead of the slippers, shame...cannot see my pink toes  now....

:rotfl: It's a womans prerogative to have as much beauty products as she desires, although my flatmate (Female) does take up half the living room
Those purple socks, are they like slipper socks?
I have lovely grandad slippers, cheap and last a while, had these for about 2 years after I gave up on my last pair that were flapping at the soles and nearly broke my neck 10 times
But I didn't so I can still :j0 -

I got my new purple fluffy socks in Makro yesterday (before I came home to vaccum to try to break my neck
) and they are 'Elle' and are classed as 'relaxing at home, feet up on the sofa. fire roaring, bar of chocolate in one hand, cuppa in the other' socks

They could be classed as bed socks but shush! don't tell anyone LOL :rotfl:
ps...they only cost £1.99 so am quite pleased with my bargain
