You are an inspiration because you could have so easily given up altogether. Just keep that fighting spirit and you will come out at the end of this! :A

I kinda have given up, then I have a moment like now and renew the fight, hope it lasts!

If you could see me, I used to be slim, fairly well groomed, now I'm just a mess!

Fight on I will, one day.....one day I am determined to be debt free and happy :)

I love that word I have highlighted!

I've looked through my outgoings.....I'm not exactly a big spender anyway, so i'll keep looking for that advice!

I'm not very good at helping with the practicalities, but I'm certain that your signature will change for the better - and soon.

    For free ;)

Post everything you can think of money wise and I'm sure you'll get an answer to most of your questions. Even if that debt goes down by a pound a week, then a pound a day etc.

    Best of luck :)

hi ya, once you see the debt on paper it looks a lot but then you know exactly what you need to pay back, and you can see it slowly going down week by week or month by month. most of us are in the same boat on here, so just do what you can :)

Dear Miroslav.......always carry in your heart that fact that the good folk on this site really do care about each other....even more so when they are on a bit of a downer. There have been many success stories on this site and yours will be another one. :grouphug:

As for looking a sight....well, I used to be young and gorgeous too........blimey, if you could only see me now!

    Am thinking of you.

    Hiya Sweetheart,

Just wanted to say Good Afternoon to ya! It's morning for me actually as I didn't get out of bed until 12:10pm  Due to my fall down the stairs yesterday, my bruised and battered body slept for over 11 hours  I'm a lazy so and so....LOL :D:D:D

Happiness you know, is a state of mind that can be achieved whatever situation you are in. Many years ago I read a book called 'Happiness Now' I'd send it to you if I still had it but I gave it away to someone who needed it about 4 years ago. What it basically tells you is that life will get better if you try to adopt a positive mental attitude. Try not to look at what you don't have/can't achieve right now etc. try to look at all the good things in your life and what you have achieved so far. A lassie can be beautiful whatever her size and there are lot's of little things you can do to cheer yourself up. I am a trained Holistic Therapist (though I don't do that job anymore) and I want to send you a few little goodies to cheer you up. Send me your address by PM please hon and I'll do what I can to help make you smile a little :D

I'll also send you my e-mail so if ever you want to chat you have someone to talk to...

Keep reaching out to your friends, try to smile a little and we will sort out what we can for you I am sure.

    Ember xx

  • Hi Miroslav,

    1. Don't worry about work, if you are unready, then you will simply get iller going back too early.
    2. You are doing OK, and have completed half the job. You just need to get organised.
    3. I have compiled a list of Action points for you (i have put it in an excel ss) but cannot paste that effectively here. I know it looks messy. Can you pm me your email address. If you do all my action points and offer revised offers on a couple of them your outgoings will be £17.50 pw, under the £18.50 target.
    4. Stop worrying and get well.

It does make it 'different' to see it written down and what goes where. Think I'm most concerned about bailiffs, debt collectors and jail.
