I am still awaiting mine for the year to 5th April 2008, seems to be taking forever.

Same here. I was told it would be there by the end of May. Called them this morning and was told 10th June! Not holding my breath.

Maybe they are trying to get it right, unlike last year when they had to send new ones out.

No, but I have calculated the figures from the online statement by copying it to a spreadsheet - a process which I admit is a minor nightmare!

I was considering opening an ICICI or a Kaupthing, but this I feel is the final thing against ICICI.

Can't you access this information and print it out on line? I know many UK banks now aren't providing these certs. unless you request them.
