Still better than a kick in the teeth.

Do you have any stuff that could go on e-bay, amazon or to a car boot sale, to wipe another slice off the card with the 0% ending soon.

    Hi Ras

Thanks for the tip, I just sold 4 things on Ebay and was very suprised to see that I cant draw the money out of PayPal until I get positive feedback left under their new rules! Thought it was a bit cheeky that I have £48 I cant get at and have had to pay for the postage already so Im out of pocket!

    Well that's a bit cheeky!
I know when I buy from Ebay, I only leave feedback when the item has arrived.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Hi BayBee08. Could you do a balance transfer to help with the immediate problem?

    Hi,

I guess I could but they are due in the next couple of days which is a bit of a problem - I know its my fault.

However just found an old CC with £3,000 limit - wondering if to chop it up or see if they will do me a good rate to move the expiring balance onto? Does this seem a good idea

Does anyone know where I can get an SOA template to post on here? Thanks so much xx

    Hi Baybee,
Dont worry hun, try not to get stressed, we are all in the same boat, so we will try to help you.
I certainly would not pretend everything is ok, if you are stressed, that will affect your health...and that is not OK. Also if you borrow off another card to pay the other 2 cards, you are just in a never ending viscious circle.
First thing you need to do is speak to someone like the CCCS, they will guide you in the right direction. You can try calling the credit card companies and ask for them to put you on an arrangement to pay less and freeze interest, but it will batter your credit rating, so that needs to be considered.
Its getting late now hun and you are not going to be able to sort this tonight, but why not give cccs a phone in the morning, they will offer lots of advice. Try not to think about it too much now or it will keep you awake.
    Keep us posted.

If you are late with a payment to a 0% card then you may end up losing the 0% rate.

We really can't advise without seeing a SOA to see what you can or can't afford. We don't know what your work involves so really can't advise on the best possible solution.

You may be better speaking to one of the free debt charities about going on a DMP.

If you take money out on a credit card, you will be paying a higher rate of interest on the money. And if you use one of the 0% cards to do this, you will be paying interest on that (plus the interest) until the card is completely cleared.

When are the payments due? Can you use the Asds card to BT funds to those accounts? It will probably take a full week to do, but at least you will have made the payment. Really think you should consider a DMP if your job will alllow that - even though it may mean a poor credit rating for the next 6 years.
