NatWest card

After a couple of happy years at this, I've just tried to move money from Virgin (10k) to another couple of cards. 1st one ok - 7k to Amazon, but NatWest gave us a credit limit of £475!
Have they started sharing info properly? When queried the only thing the girl could come up with was "had we got money on other cards?".
Worries me slightly as I want to do a big remortgage and hope our credit scoring isn't mucked up.

Natwest gave me a limit of £2400 (the lowest limit I have ever had) and wouldn't budge on it.They seem to be the worst at the moment as I have had a £5000 and a £4400 since.I think they are looking more closely at available credit than other lenders.A greedy man's bag is never full0 -
The parsimonious limits imposed by NW/RBS have been discussed here some while ago. Whilst no interest-free loan should be sneezed at, anyone seeking to maximise the benefit from stoozing should concentrate on the well-known high rollers such as MBNA, Capitalone, etc before mopping up the small fry such as this.0
