I'm going to supply the company with dummy shipping number and let's see what his reponse is...

Did think of that...Let's see if he responds before I decide to drag this one out, problem is he is based in this country and obviously has my details now2p off is still 2p off!0

The plot thickens, just got 3 e-mails in the space of about 5 minutes (can't be a coincidence, can it?!)
1st one says (after I gave them a duff reference number), note how the postal order is on the way to my door post! I don't even have one!:
HELLO,
YOUR POSTAL ORDER IS ON ITS WAY TO YOUR DOOR POST.
DAVE WILLIS,
UK POSTAL ORDER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE.
2nd says (again note the poor english):
HELLO,
WE WERE ABOUT SENDING THE POSTAL ORDER TODAY WHEN WE GOT THE REFERENCE NUMBER BUT WE CALLED ROYAL MAIL IMMEDIATELY AND THEY TOLD US THAT THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE REFERENCE NUMBER SO WE CALLED BACK THE POSTAL ORDER.
PLZ TRY TO CLEAR THE PROBLEM AND MAIL US A BETTER REFERENCE NUMBER THEN WE PROCEED WITH THE SENDING OF THE POSTAL OR WE CANCEL IT AFTER TWO DAYS.
LUCY JAMES,
Followed by 3rd from buyer (title of message was: I AM NOT HAPPY WITH YOU):

HELLO I WAS TOLD BY AN AUCTION PAY REPRESENTATIVE THAT THE REFERENCE NUMBER YOU PROVIDED WAS NOT VALID.

WHY?
Note how they all in CAPITALS with poor language skills, lets see how long I can drag this out for, let's put a delay of a few days on it with this e-mail:
Hello friend,
Hmmm, I'm not sure why that is, I have checked the number and indeed it is correct, I will double check it again later and contact Royal Mail myself to query this error, I am very busy in the next few days so it might be a day or two until I get back to you
Ciao for now...2p off is still 2p off!0 -
You could always say that sometimes it takes a while for the Royal Mail to update their systems with all the relevant codes.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

Love to my two angels that I will never forget.0 -
You could say your door post is in for repairs!0
-
Might send him another one telling him please be happy with me as I'm working hard to sort this problem, will need to watch all my future auctions as he may get a new account and try it on again.
Anyone else had problems like this in the past? Especially when they're tried to pay by the UK Postal Order company? The e-mail addresses used give the following websites: www.accountants.com for the Postal Order Co and www.thefreesite.com for the buyer. Both of these are registered to US addresses and are search engine/directory type sites.2p off is still 2p off!0 -
Any updates?
Sounds like a biiiig scam to me!! x:starmod: :staradmin :starmod:I gave up jogging for my health when my thighs kept rubbing together and setting fire to my knickers:starmod: :staradmin :starmod:0 -

Hmmm, did search on that when I first got the e-mail but couldn't find anything, it does make it all a bit odd.
BB no updates reall just this reply in response to mine:
HELLO,
I WILL AWAIT YOU REPLY.
Any suggestions for a reply? Might just go along the lines of problems with Royal Mail or the like, he hasn't told me why he's been NARU'd though, might put a dim witted reply like eBay has told me not to deal with you but you seem like a nice guy and I still want the transaction to go ahead, might also ask him if he's heard of Fraydon Aryan2p off is still 2p off!0 -
