A&L minimum transfer from other A&L account

Hi there,

Can the minimum transfer required to avoid paying charges ona a Premier Plus come from another Alliance and Leicester account?

NO, the transfer has to come from another bank account or your salary/pension etc.
You can transfer it out though, so technically you could use the same £1000 each month to transfer in and out of your account.

One way to meet this requirement is to withdraw cash at an ATM and pay it back in over the counter. This does count, unlike internal transfers, but you can only withdraw £250 per day and might want to spend some of it occasionally!

[So you can, for instance, take out £250, pay in £200, and you have withdrawn £50 for your own use - taking you £200 further towards the monthly credit total]

Probably yes, but I prefer to ask...just in case...

Yes, from any account outside A&L ...

Terms & conditions :

32.2 You must pay the minimum monthly credit into Your Account each month, which We will notify, to You. Credit transfers to the Account from other Alliance & Leicester accounts will not count towards the minimum monthly credit.
